Python Job: Quality Assurance - Software

What is the Position?

PartsBadger is seeking a Quality Assurance Software Developer who will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions with our software development team. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics with team leadership.

You will be performing several independent tasks in addition to working with various development team members on testing their respective applications and outlining long term structure for consistent and reliable application performance.

Work Environment: This will be a fully remote position, with future opportunities for travel to our USA location.

Day to Day:

• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
• Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software and automated testing architecture
• Excellent QA skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
• Excellent knowledge of test frameworks (Xunit, Nunit, TestNG)
• Experience of working in agile environment
• OOP Programing Languages: Familiar with Python
• Web Technologies: Familiar with React, Typescript
• Familiar with concept of version control system
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional in Engineering or Related Careers
• 3+ years of experience in the QA area.
• Documentation and Visualization Master
• Knowledge in Quality Assurance
• Experience in Agile Methodologies and Management Tools

Compensation: $1,500-$2,500/month Based on Experience
